Rocket
Rocket is a large and powerful alano, and is longer in the leg than Nitro. He is very serious in nature, and pensive in appearance. Naturally very aloof, and takes a very long time to warm to people. He is very quick to alert to something unusual and tends to be suspicious of anything new until he has made his mind up that it is of no threat. He is very fleet footed and seemingly jumps as if his legs are super spring loaded. He is a superb hunter and has filled many pots with wild rabbit. When he is fully mature he will be a superb dog.
Nitro
Nitro is the textbook alpha male full to the brim with self-assurance and dominant swagger. He considers himself to be the boss of everything and only submits to his beloved master. He is a dog that needs firm leadership, but in return gives total loyalty and adoration. He loves a firm pat, and stands on his hind legs for a stroke. Everything about him is driven and he performs every action with vigour and enthusiasm. He hardly ever walks as he travels at a run or full sprint everywhere he goes. The very moment he spots something to hunt he zips off after it at an absurd speed, hence his name. His movement is like watching a marriage between ballet and rugby as he will jump and twist and change direction in a millisecond, simultaneously barging and bullying other dogs out of his path – I frequently just watch him exercise purely for the hypnotic joy of seeing him do so. He is very stoic in nature and has to be the toughest dog I have ever known, I can only imagine that this is what the British bulldog must have been like at one time. He is very protective in nature and aloof to strangers, instinctively guarding when appropriate. He is very cocksure and will investigate anything unusual on our property with absolutely no hesitation.
